How should I prepare for my first treatment?

For sports massage, please come wearing active attire (shorts for men or shorts and a sports bra for women). For other treatments, it is helpful to wear clothing that can be easily removed to access the areas you want to focus on.

What should I expect from my first session?

You should expect a few things from your first session, most notably a decrease in muscle tension and stress. It is also common to have some soreness after your initial treatment, which can be minimized by hydrating well with water both before and after your visit.

How much of my clothes do I take off for the massage?

Whatever you are comfortable with, it is just as common to remove undergarments as to keep them on for the massage.

Does deep tissue have to hurt to work for the massage?

Absolutely not. If the massage is so painful that the muscles are tensing, then it is coutner productive. Your comfort is always top priority.

Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?

We do not treat terminal illness, however, massage can be an excellent tool to help with pain management, which is often needed in terminal and chronic illness cases.
